Bio

George sings music from the big band era up to and including Elvis Presley. He is constantly adding to his repertoire. His background as a public speaker and a standup comic, plus his experience as a cabaret performer, add an extra dimension to his ability to connect with his audience.

Four years ago, he recorded “Can’t Help Falling in Love” for his wife Francine’s birthday because she was a big Elvis fan. She liked it so much she asked him when he was going to do it again. George insisted that it was just a one shot deal. By the time their anniversary rolled around, he decided to do two Sinatra songs, “Strangers In The Night” and “I Love My Wife”. Francine really became persistent about him pursuing a singing career. George was finally convinced. He began taking singing lessons with Juilliard Graduate, and former opera star, Badiene Magaziner.

Since launching his career, he has performed in various New York venues, including Dillon’s, Don’t Tell Mama, Danny’s, Notaro, and Caterina’s. He has also performed at clubs and restaurants in New Jersey including Three Guys From Italy, where radio personality Danny Stiles was so impressed, he played songs from George’s first demo on his show.

George’s first full CD is now complete and available for sale.
